Cardiovascular Services

Members of our Cardiovascular Services team provide compassionate patient care in our state-of-the-art facilities. OU Medicine is equipped with the latest technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of common and complex cardiac and vascular disorders.

Child Life Department

Dedicated to the healing of the whole child and focused on the physical and psychosocial well-being of our patients, Child Life specialists help promote development and minimize the stress of hospitalization for families.

Critical Care

Various Allied Health professionals provide patient- and family-centered care and support during stressful situations. Areas of expertise include our cardiac programs, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), dialysis, otorhinolaryngology, craniofacial surgeries, transplant services, complex thoracic surgeries and trauma services.


OU Medicine Imaging professionals work to ensure our patients have a comfortable and positive experience. Our leading-edge technology includes a SPECT/CT imaging system and PET/CT hybrid camera, the first of their kind in this area. Our MRI twin-speed system is one of only a few in the world.

Interventional Radiology

Providing patient-focused care, our interventional radiologists are the most experienced in Oklahoma. We practice the latest advances, including drug-coated stents and medications that grow new blood vessels.

Laboratory Services

By using state-of-the-art technology, training and instrumentation, the laboratory professionals at OU Medicine help prevent disease by detecting unknown problems and aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of health conditions. Our lab services encompass many specialties for pediatrics and adults while contributing to vital health programs.

Perioperative Services

Members of our Perioperative Services team ensure that surgical procedures run smoothly and efficiently and that our patients have a safe and sterile environment that supports optimal outcomes.


Our Pharmacists have the opportunity to enjoy satisfying patient interaction, including educating patients and their families. We have two onsite pharmacies that serve our inpatient and outpatient populations: OU Pharmacists Care Center at OU Physicians and The OU Children’s Pharmacy inside The Children’s Hospital. We also dedicate clinical Pharmacists to specialized areas throughout the Hospital.


Our Respiratory professionals enjoy the satisfaction of working with a broad range of patients and playing a pivotal role as a member of an interdisciplinary team. We administer procedures and therapies you won’t find anywhere else in Oklahoma, allowing you to maintain your skills. Our technology is leading edge, and we participate in research.
